GFWC Leadership Reimagined

Good leaders are forward-thinking, capable of handling all future challenges.

National, region, state, district and club leaders know that to create a smooth transition between leaders creates smooth transitions from administration to administration.  We will endeavor to give you the tools to learn new leadership skills and find ways to create those smooth transitions.

We will provide you with opportunities to step outside of your comfort zones and try something new. We will use GFWC (guidance, focus, wisdom and coaching) as deliberate strategies, knowing we all have different personalities and perspectives.

Guidance: It is important to train your members, give them the information they need and the history of both GFWC and your club to help them grow.

Focus: As leaders it is important to remind your members of their responsibilities and the mission of the club.

Wisdom: In each position you serve, you will gain knowledge of our Federation and better insights into being a good listener as well as a leader.

Coaching: Be sure you provide the help your members need for each step of their journey in leadership – making it comfortable, allowing them to reach their full potential.

GFWC provides so many resources, and we will help you utilize them and set the tone for a strong foundation to build your leadership skills and empower the members in your club.
